To celebrate the release of *Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F*, Netflix teamed up with the icon Crazy Frog for a music video that pits the animated character against the lead detective, portrayed by Eddie Murphy.

Crazy Frog was a Swedish CGI-animated character created in 2003, nearly a decade after *Beverly Hills Cop III* was released in 1994.

Crazy Frog previously released a cover version of ‘Axel F’, the electronic theme from the original 1984 film, composed by German musician Harold Faltermeyer. Crazy Frog’s version topped charts across most of Europe in 2005. Their latest video offers a new remix of the track.

Lil Nas X also sampled the original theme in their new song ‘Here We Go!’ for the highly anticipated fourth film in the franchise, now streaming on Netflix.

Eddie Murphy reprises his role as Detroit-born police officer Axel Foley in Netflix’s upcoming sequel, following his starring roles in the first three films released in 1984, 1987, and 1994. Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, and Bronson Pinchot also reprise their roles.

The new film shows Murphy’s character teaming up with his new partner, detective Bobby Abbott (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), after the life of his estranged daughter, criminal defense attorney Jane Saunders (Taylour Paige), is threatened.
